aVOR serves as an educational resource focusing on the vestibulo-ocular reflex (VOR) system and associated disorders, including Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV). The tool effectively illustrates eye saccades, particularly those induced by canalithiasis, along with both functional and dysfunctional VOR responses. Additionally, it provides insights into the causes and treatments of BPPV.

Moreover, aVOR showcases the automatic correlation between head movements and changes in eye orientation, addressing the implications of semicircular canal dysfunction in relation to their anatomical characteristics. The content delves into the manifestations of nystagmus and its underlying mechanisms.

One notable feature is the Quiz Mode, which prompts users to identify symptoms indicative of diverse VOR dysfunctions. This interactive component enhances the learning experience for college-level neuropsychology students and medical professionals.
